Alden 13770 Black Chromexcel Chukka

V ery nice pair of Alden Chukka Boots in black chromexcel. These are a “Bootmaker’s Edition” from The Shoe Mart several years back. This means that the design was a special make that isn’t part of Alden’s regular catalogue. Size 11 1/2 in the Barrie Last - this last runs 1/2 size big. My “normal” shoe size is 12D (American). I wear a size 11 1/2 in Alden’s Barrie and Trubalance last. A size 12 in Alden’s Aberdeen and Leyton last, for example. These shoes fit me well. Not much wear to these babies.
