For sale is a pair of RARE Excellent Used Condition Alden Offshore X One Design Gray Suede LHS Unlined Penny Loafer Boat Shoes Men's 8.5 D. Summer is now just one week away! And that means it's time for many of us to switch out our shoes. Sneakers, sandals, moccasins, driving shoes, the many variants of the loafer, ventilated shoes, huaraches, espadrilles/alpargatas, and so many more. Invariably, you'll be seeing the classic boat shoe left and right this season. But what if you'd like something a bit more elevated without sacrificing the versatility that made the boat shoe a summer staple? That brings us to today's feature... New to the account is the Alden Offshore X One Design Penny Loafer Boat Shoe. With subtle references to Alden's iconic Leisure Handsewn Loafer (LHS), this shoe impresses with its clean execution and thoughtful attention to detail. This pair features a lightweight gray roughout suede upper, textured red brick rubber outsole with Alden's "Deck Grip" technology, unlined construction for superb breathability, and a full leather sockliner and insole. It's both a beautiful and highly functional summer shoe, yet built with the seriousness and robustness of Alden's more traditional offerings. Worn only a handful of times, these required virtually no touching up. These shoes feature a rich and buttery soft gray Calf suede leather upper, classic LHS design influenced Raised-lake Moc Penny Loafer boat shoe loafer design, unlined leather lining, cushioned leather sockliner, leather insole, and red brick rubber outsole. The lining can be a little hard to make out, but it appears to say the following: "8.5 D, 5710, 01, 2, 8325(?)" For reference, here are the approximate measurements (taken along the outsole): Length - 11.375" Width (at the ball of foot) - 3.75" These shoes have been worn exceedingly sparingly (5X) and maintained exceptionally well.
