Alden D7910HC Color 8 Shell Cordovan Indy Boot

This is a fantastic set of boots that were always just a bit too small so I never wore them as much as I would have liked. They are in beautiful shape and have been taken care of with shoe trees. They are used so they will have small imperfections from wear. There are a couple very minor scratches that are pictured that will polish out if you rub on them with your thumb polishing bone or whatever you like to use on your cordovan. It’s durable and known to be somewhat self healing, none of the marks are actual gouge damage just from light wear. These are in really nice shape so I’m not bothering to take the time and clean polish them up, pictured is how they are off my shoe rack. Style. I bought them liking the Indy boot style but not necessarily loving the squared off stitch of the actual Indy’s. These feature a more curved shape of the toe stitching as well as the Barrie last which fits slightly more narrow than the true balance . I believe they are called U tip boots and not necessarily Indy but I’ve seen the Indy term used interchangeably with these. At any rate they are a beautiful style with a 360 good year welt and the more rugged cannabis sole. They have a lifetime of use left and have just started to develop the character associated with shell cordovan. Time for someone to put them to use on a daily basis.
