Alden x Epaulet 405 Officer Indy Boot 9.5D 40503H Dark Brown Horween Chromexcel. Trubalance last. These Indys were a collaboration between Alden and Epaulet in Brooklyn, NY and were at the time one of the more desirable makeups of the Alden Indy. Only a dozen or so pairs were made-up for the boutique per year, and it's been several years to my knowledge that they have been available. Rarely seen these days for sale second-hand. Features a double-leather dress sole, and same-color stitching on the toe vs. the usual white/cream colored stitching. A bit dressier than the usual Indy but still casual enough to be worn with chinos, slacks, or darker jeans! I really love these and hate to let them go but I just don't go out dressed up as much as I used to these days so I'd rather someone else love them! Excllent shape! Boots have been well-cared for, show some signs of use of course but very light markings for a boot of this age! See photos! Lovely patina, and show far less wear than most of the Alden x Epaulet officer indys that pop up for sale from time to time! Relatively light wear, I did not wear these all that often and only into the office/out on the town, never in bad weather or out in the elements. Plenty of life left in the soles, but as always these can always be resoled if needed by a cobbler or Alden. The Trubalance Last is one of Alden's larger-sized lasts, so most people suggest sizing DOWN a half-size. So if you normally measure a men's 10 on a Brannock Device or wear size 10 in most shoes, you would need a 9.5 size on a Trubalance-lasted shoe. Will ship with shoe trees and bags.
