Condition Report These shoes are in excellent pre-owned condition and have been very well cared for: Uppers: The black calfskin leather is supple and healthy, showing only normal, light creasing across the vamps. They take a beautiful shine. No deep gouges, scuffs, or tears. Insoles: Very clean with zero odors. The original gold leaf Alden New England heel pad stamps are crisp, dark, and fully legible, indicating these have not been heavily worn down. Outsoles: The leather soles remain firm with the original channel stitching fully intact around the toe and welt line. Heels: Features a brand-new, unworn rubber dovetail heel replacement.
