Alden 62442F Navy Suede LHS / Penny Loafer

AUTHENTIC NEVER USED.. Alden 6244F is a popular unlined penny loafer in blue suede, known for its exceptional comfort and casual style. It is crafted on the Van Last using a flexible single leather outsole system, making it an ideal choice for leisure wear. The unlined construction from glove-soft suede provides a "buttery soft" feel from the first wear.

For sale here is the shown pair of Alden unlined navy suede LHS leisure handsewn loafers in size 8D van last. These are the stone cold Alden classic Ivy style penny loafers, in the very rare navy suede color with handsewn apron, not the machine stitched version more common now. Alden's backlog of hand stitching means these rarely get made. This was the last pair from Harry's Shoes NYC and the other retailer who carries the navy suede version, Brick & Mortar, only gets the machine stitched version now. Get these rare hand stitched ones while you can.  Bought these over the summer and just never find myself reaching for them. They have been worn approximately 6 times or so, and you can see based on the pics they have not even been broken in; they are nearly new. These are an 8D van last and fit quite snugly for the size. I wear them with no show socks and they are pretty tight, but they will absolutely stretch with wear. they are supremely comfortable because they are entirely unlined. Please know your Van last sizing because there are no returns. See all pics for condition. They are a very dark navy color but in the sun they really pop, and would be an amazing and unique addition to someone's loafer rotation. They will come with all original accessories: box, shoe bags, etc. No shoe trees though. These are close to $700.00 brand new and impossible to find; get them barely worn here for much less!
