Excellent Very Lightly Used Condition Alden 9271F Black Calfskin Plain Toe Dover Oxfords Men's Made In USA Size 10 C/E. Extremely Well Made.

These are Alden Plain Toe Dover Oxfords in size 12. They are marked on the inside as size B/D, which if I recall correctly means they fit more on the narrow end of average. I believe these were marked down customs that were never picked up so good luck on deciphering those numbers on the inside. The material is a grainy black calfskin. They have been worn to a few outdoor formal occasions. You can trust they got light wear in outdoor settings by comparing how good the insides look vs. the condition of the soles. Bought these myself from Alden DC or San Francisco years ago, had them restored several years ago (BY ALDEN) and have never worn them since. Great shape, supple leather, soles are unworn. See photos for details. Box and shoe bags included, BUT NOT SHOETREES (some are pictured in the photos). Always stored with shoetrees in, well-loved but very well-restored shoes. Research for yourself to confirm, but appears to be Copley last. Found that Barrie and Modified fit me much more comfortably, hence the sale. I'm not a shoe expert, so when in doubt please refer to the photos. Alden Black Derby Oxford Calfskin Dress Shoes Size 9.5 D. These are in good condition. They were bought secondhand and the previous owner had foam tongue pads, which I removed. There is foam residue left on the tongues. I believe there was some foam padding added underneath the leather insole. It could probably be removed if needed. The soles appear to have been worn in wet conditions, so there are some pebbles and markings on the soles. A few minor scuffs on the outer leather. Otherwise in great shape with lots of life left.
