Selling a lightly worn pair of Alden for J.Crew Shell Cordovan Leather Cap-Toe Boots (US size 10.5/EU size 44). I purchased this pair of boots several years ago, wore them a handful of times to the office, and have since kept them in cool, dry, waterproof storage. Selling now to make room in my collection. The shoes have never been damaged or exposed to rain/wet weather. There are some very minor scuffs on the toes and heels (pictured) - easily buffed out with a nice polish. Original Alden cedar wood shoe trees and Alden shoe bags included. Several decades of life left in these boots. Hello, up for auction is a pair of Alden for J.Crew color 8 cap-toe boots in size 11.5. These are built on the Barrie last, which apparently runs large because I'm typically a size 12 and these fit me well. Please do your research on Alden sizing before bidding. Please look at the photos to get an idea of the condition. If you would like any other photos, please contact me. The boots are in very good condition, and were well taken care of. There are only minor signs of use/patina. I simply don't wear them enough anymore. They were always brushed after wearing, and conditioned with Saphir Renovateur from time to time. A local cobbler added a thin rubber Vibram topy-style sole and heel plate, which you can see in the photos. The cobbler has also added a small stitch on each tongue toward the top to hold it from sliding. You can't see evidence of this from the outside and works great. Typically these tongues are known to slide to the side otherwise. If you don't like this, it's easily removable and there won't be any evidence it was ever there. There is one nick in the right heel which is tiny, like 2mm and not noticeable unless you're holding the shoe up to your eyes. Included are Alden shoe trees, the original Alden storage bags, and the original Alden box. Please ask any questions before bidding, and I'll try my best to answer them.
