SPECS (stamped inside the boot and on the box label, both photographed): Style 1339 Chukka Boot / Size 8.5, width 3E (EEE) / Barrie last / Horween Color 8 shell cordovan / double oak leather sole, Goodyear welted. CONDITION - please read, and look at the photos. These have been worn and are not new. Being straight with you: The vamps have the deep rolling creases that shell cordovan develops. That is normal for shell and it is not cracking, but it is pronounced. There are surface scuffs and scratches on the toes. Most of that responds to a horsehair brush and a little Venetian cream, but I am selling them as-is rather than dressing them up for photos. The leather soles show real wear at the ball of the foot. They are not worn through and there is life left in them, but a resole is somewhere in their future. Heels are original and solid. Linings and insoles are clean and intact. No odor. I photographed the soles and the creasing straight on so there are no surprises when the box arrives. SIZING: The Barrie last is generally said to run about a half size large. This pair is a 3E, so it suits a genuinely wide foot. Happy to measure anything you want before you commit, just ask. Ships free within the US.
