Alden 1493 Snuff Suede Unlined Chukka 10.5 E  Leydon last runs narrow, so it's E width is more close to D width in other shoe brands that do not distinguish width with different lasts. Quite a recent purchase earlier this year, but was damaged last month. Wore this beautiful pair to a party in August and ended up spilling and stepped on oily foods.  Paid $120 steam cleaning at a professional cobbler in NYC, only to find out that the suede leather's discoloration from oil residue cannot be reversed. So the front tips look a bit darker now. (Left shoe has a bit larger darker area)  The cobbler recommended dyeing them into darker colors instead, but I turned it down as I already have enough pairs of dark brown and black boots.  So you can wear them as-is, or can make them your DIY self dye project pair while enjoying the handsome shape and comfortable construction of unlined chukka technology from Alden at less than half of the msrp.  Look at the golden logos of Alden at the insoles. They are still intact in both shoes. They are not worn that much...  Comes with shoes only, but will be well wrapped in a secure shipping box.
