As with all projects there are usually a few styles that do not make it to market for one reason or another. J Crew was really leaning into the Indy Boot at this time and likely felt that these did not fit the direction they wanted to go with. These are the only pair developed in this particular combination so trust you will not come across these anywhere, truly 1 of a kind. Over these years have considered rocking them but they are a bit small on me and personally not my color. Brand New with Defects- I have listed these as ”New with Defects” because while these are brand new and never worn, they have been tried on indoors over the years and also from being moved and jostled a bit, have a few very minor scuffs on the upper. Very minor blemishes overall and will not affect the brand new, unworn quality of these. Just wanted to be very clear in the description of the condition of these so there are no surprises and you are clear about the condition before you commit to purchasing these. A few notes about the boot; Barrie Last- the Barrie last is considered to run bigger by 1/2 size to your normal boot size. Example; if you are normally a 10, you would take a 9.5. Compared against your sneaker size these run a full size big, so if you are a 10 in sneakers you would take a 9. Width is D- a normal sized width meant to fit many foot types, not narrow, not wide. Upper is in Alden's premium suede in Alden's classic ”Milkshake” color. These are a super duper rare pair of NEW NEVER EVER WORN Alden Two-Tone Longwing Bluchers. I guarantee you haven't seen this combo in an Alden shoe. Snuff Suede Toe and Eyerow. Navy Suede Vamp. Snuff enamel eyelids with matching cotton laces. You can see from the images that these shoes are STUNNING. The suede is top quality from England, Stead Suede.
