Gorgeous pair of Alden brogued balmoral oxfords in a hard to find burgundy/merlot color. Similar to and a more premium version of the celebrated Allen Edmonds Strand. They have been factory restored by Alden (as evidenced by the “Alden Restoration’ markings in the footbed), and have been well-cared for with a lot of life left in the hand stitched soles. I’ve elected not to shine them up so buyers can best see what they are investing in, knowing that these shoes can be brought to a head-turning showroom mirror shine. Wear these out and women will want you, and other men will want to BE you…. As these are used hand crafted footwear made in the USA with full grain calfskin leather, they have typical blemishes and wrinkles that provide tons of character. Of note is a small cut in the upper leather on a heel as shown in one of the photos. Alden Shoe Trees are not included.
