For sale is a pair of hard-to-find Alden D4822HC wingtip dress boots in black Horween Chromexcel on a commando sole. These boots feature 360 pre-stitched reverse Goodyear welt, full leather linings, speed hooks, which are on the Barrie last in Alden size 10 B/D. I purchased these shoes from Brogue, a retailer well-known for a wide assortment of unique Alden footwear. Alden is a storied shoemaker founded in 1884 in Middleborough, MA and is one of the few remaining US shoe makers recognized internationally for their outstanding quality and durability. I have only worn these once 1x as I'm cleaning out my wardrobe. As normal with pre-owned shoes, these show some creasing, a little bit in the right front vamp and left rear heel, wear on the sole and slight scuffs which can be seen from the pictures so please review carefully. However, these are in pristine condition, always stored in their dust bags and shoe trees, conditioned with Saphir products. These shoes are about ½ size larger than normal as usual with the Barrie last. Please know your Alden size before bidding. No returns.These shoes come with the original Alden box and Alden boot dust bags (but no shoe trees).
