Description: For your consideration is a truly "New in Box" (BNIB) pair of Alden Ravello Shell Cordovan Wingtip Boots. These are the highly coveted 2017 Bookmaker Edition (Style 44621H), a release known among collectors for having a particularly rich, honey-toned Ravello shade that is increasingly difficult to find in modern runs. My understanding is that there are maybe  Key Specifications: Model: 44621H (Shortwing Boot)  Leather: Horween Genuine Ravello Shell Cordovan  Last: Barrie Last (Typically fits 1/2 size large; ideal for a Brannock 10.5D)  Sole: Double Oak Leather Outsole with 360-degree Reverse Antique Welt  Details: Matching agility eyelets and speed hooks, pull tab, and the signature "Bookmaker" commemorative stamping. Condition: These boots are in pristine, unworn condition. They have only been handled for photography and have never been walked in, your foot will be the first. The shell displays the beautiful depth and "glow" characteristic of the 2017 Horween batches. Included are the original box, Alden cloth dust bags, and all original packaging. These are Shoemart edition and include all original box, bags, packaging and care cards as they came from the factory.  I did brush these a bit for photos but otherwise never conditioned and looking bright.  When my name finally come up on The Shoe Mart list I was thrilled to get my grail boots, but not long after I came into a pair of color 4 which introduced a lot of overlap so they've sat in the box. There is a small dimple on the right boot where it was in indirect contact with the opposing eyelet through the bags, it in barely noticeable and can only be noticed because the shell is completely untouched.   🐎 The Rarity of the Hide The 1% Standard: Out of every 1,000 shells produced at Horween, fewer than 30 typically meet the flawless, "pore-less" standard required for Ravello. 🔍 Naked Finish: Because Ravello uses a translucent aniline dye, it offers no "coverage."
