Alden Chukka Boots in Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan, Whiskey color I am the original owner of these boots and they are as supportive today as they were on Day One. The steel shank provides superior support and comfort throughout the day. The are constructed on Alden's Barrie Last and feature double oak leather outsoles. These boots were handcrafted in New England (USA).  Of interest is the Horween Cordovan leather. More than a color, this leather is a very specific leather from a particular part of a horsehide. And the whiskey color is no longer available, making it rare and sought after. After many years of wear there is natural patina and great depth to the appearance of the leather.
