Alden x Brooks Brothers Plain Toe Bluchers in  Shell Cordovan Color 8. Size 10.5 D In fair and wearable condition.  Soles have some surface cracking but they are still solid. There is also some wear to the toe and heels (see pics).   Insides have some darkening from normal wear but there is no major damage to heelcups or footbeds.   The shell uppers are still  supple and well nourished but there are some flaws. The first is some cracking around the upper heel of the right shoe  - see pics. Ive worn these for the past 10 years and this has never got any worse. It could possibly be patched i imagine but it is definitely something that you'd probably  have to live with. The second issue is a small slice in the shell on the inside of the left shoe.  It's not gone right through to the leather lining but it has definitely cut through the shell. It's about half an inch long. This has also never got any any worse. Worth noting that these BB versions of the Alden PTB have an ever so slightly different profile than Alden's regular PTB. The most visible difference is that the welt is not as prominent.  Great sturdy stylish shoes in wearable condition - if you can live with the flaws.
