Thank you for your visiting our page! Condition Description Alden 559 The basic specifications of the 559 are kid skin except for the toe cap, and the toe cap is made of kid, calf, or cordovan. The toe cap of this shoe is cordovan. Last: Modified Material: Kid x Cordovan Color: Black Size: 8D Sole: Single oiled leather No box or shoe back included. The upper has some scuffs and wrinkles, and the silver surface has some slight damage, but it is still wearable. The upper part of both heels has been repaired with leather patching, please see the images. There is some scuffing on the inside of the heel, but we have not yet decided to repair the back of the heel as we have not repaired it. The sole is entirely resole with a single oiled sole. The top lift is a Steady-Foot Heel from the Foot Balance series, reproduced by Dr. Sole. The original was once used as the original top lift for military lasts and True Balance lasts. This listing is for a pair of Alden Black, Lace Up, Cap Toe, Derby shoes. Nice soft leather. #559 Shoe lasts not included. PLEASE NOTE The shoes are marked Sz 8 EE / EEEE. (Heel EE, Width EEEE)., But these are larger than that. The insole measures from toe to heal 28.2 cm or 11.1” These are probably at least a 10 /10.5. I held them up against an Allen Edmunds size 10 shoe and they were about the same. I have added the photos of the insole length and across the sole (4 1/4”), near the ball of the foot for you to see the measurements. Please compare these measurements with a well fitting pair of your shoes for fit. I have reduced the price on these shoes due to this. I will accept returns for a money back refund if they do not fit you well, (but will not refund the shipping costs.) The shoes are new, unworn but show some signs of storage, while not in the original box. The areas are mostly on the outside, on the side of the shoe, on the inside of the foot. A little scuffing on the soles. Please inspect the photos closely for more details. These came from an orthopedic office that also offered high end regular shoes.
