Aside from the scratch, these boots are in excellent pre-owned condition througjout with no marks or scuffs. The footbeds are in good condition with light impressioning only. The original leather soles are in good pre-owned condition and very firm to the press with light surface wear only. Alden FD 86911H (factory seconds) size 8.5D in discontinued dark brown country calf leather. Modified last with single leather outsoles. Minimal wear as shown in the photos. The only defect I could find to make them FD  is an imperfection in the leather near the toe cap of the right shoe. Otherwise they are in very good shape. Shoes only, no box or shoe bags.

As far as I can tell, this pair is marked as a pair of factory seconds due to some overrun welt stitching on the inside of the right boot. There are light marks at the inside heel area of both boots. The original soles are very firm to the press with about 90% of their original life remaining, heels very good with light edge wear only. No factory defect stamps inside the boots, only stamped with ”R” on sole. Made from a beautiful brown country calfskin.
