Alden D9805HC Brown Suede Plain Toe Boot

This is a plain toe suede boot made by Alden exclusively for Proconsul clothing in Los Angeles, California. Model number is D9805. Limited-edition model boot. A rare combination of plain toe, commando outsoles, quick-lace, and gorgeous, earthy ”humus” colored brown suede. 360 degree goodyear welted. Great alternative to the Alden ”indy” models. Boots are made on Alden's Barrie last. A ”last” is the form the shoe is built around. Alden has a variety of lasts that determine the shapes—and overall fit—of their shoes. Please look up more information about Alden's lasts if you're not sure what will fit your foot. As a rule of thumb, the Barrie Last is said to fit approximately 1/2 size larger than a standard dress shoe. Boots are near-mint condition. Absolutely gorgeous and worn less than a handful of times. Always stored with cedar shoe trees.
