Boots are in excellent pre-owned condition and have only been worn several times with creasing at the vamps and surface scuffing at the inside toe and heel area. The footbeds are in excellent condition with only slight impressioning. The original commando soles and heels are in excellent condition with almost no noticeable wear. Additionally, no one does handsewn design like Alden, again, at any price. These custom makes from Alden Brick & Mortar combine the best of both worlds. These boots are in a beautiful shade of Horween Color 8. Built on the sleek and versatile Plaza last, they sit on top of Aldens very comfortable split commando sole and are adorned with mahogany edging. The flat welt makes these flow easily between denim and smart business casual, virtually ensuring that they will become your go-to pair of footwear. I love these boots but retirement has simply left me with too many boots. That is the only reason these are being made available as they are in excellent condition and will continue to get better with age and use. Always stored with trees but many pics provided without the trees as those always reveal the true condition of the shoes.
