ALDEN 40 Moc Toe Brown Shoes - Neoprene Cork Grip Sole - Mens Size 12.5 A/C New without the box There is a factory stain on the footbed of one of the shoes

Unworn Alden model 40 shoes with Oil Resistant Neoprene cork soles by Biltrite. They appear to be a shoe version of the 403/405 boot. They have right and left orthopedic heels. They are size 12.5 AAAAA/AAA and may have been a special order for someone.  Alden uses what is called “split” lasts, which have a size that denotes the heel and the width at the widest part of the shoe.  Based on this the shoes are AAA at the widest part of the shoe and AAAAA at the heel. The shoe measures 13.25 inches from heel to toe and 4.5 inches at the widest part of the sole on the outside of the shoe.  I have not cleaned or polished these in any way.  They are being sold as found.  There are a few scuffs and marks from not being stored in a box.
