Alden 45164H Black Shell Cordovan Plain Toe Boot

Used but great condition Alden x Leffot Walter boots. They are plain toe boots on the Barrie last with black shell cordovan uppers. This version has brass hook and eyelet closures, antique colored split welts, and crepe rubber outsoles. The black/brass/antique color scheme is rare and stunning and the crepe soles are comfortable walking and casual. The D width barrie last is just too narrow for my wide forefoot and extremely high arches and so these sit in my closet too much. Worn but taken great care of: regularly wiped and brushed and conditioned a few times with Saphir black tinted cordovan creme over the years. They include the original Alden flannelette shoe bags, but not the original box or any branded shoe trees.

This heritage boot is a collaboration between Alden and Leffot. It's made with black Horween shell cordovan leather, on the Barrie last. It has crepe soles that are very comfortable. If you’re looking for a durable, elevated boot that can sit between smart and casual and age beautifully over time, the Walter is a very compelling pick. Pre-owned Alden x Leffot Walter Plain Toe Boot - Black Shell Cordovan size 9.5E. Model no. 45164H. Moderately used and in good condition. Some wear shows primarily on the soles, with shallow creasing on top of toe box, and some scratches in the leather, particularly in the areas around the heel.
