The shell cordovan uppers are in good condition with no rips or tears. There are creases at the vamps and a vertical mark at the right vamp. The front of the right toe has a scuffed area. The back heel area shows light marks only. The footbeds are not heavily imprinted. These shoes have missing at the inside side of both shoes where the strap meets the vamp. This is a common stress point on Alden's loafers and will need to be repaired if you intend to wear these shoes for a long time. These shoes retain their original soles and while they do show wear, the soles are in decent condition with 40-50% of their original life remaining. The original heels are in good condition with some edge wear showing at the rubber part of the toplift.
