Alden 09187 Snuff Suede Plain Toe Boot

For sale is an excellent pair of Alden x Brooks Brothers Barrie last boots in snuff suede. Pre-owned in very good overall condition, includes Alden shoe trees shown. Snuff suede uppers show normal light wear and natural variation in the suede nap. Plantation crepe soles show normal wear, particularly at the heel and leather toe sections. Leather interiors are clean and well preserved. Please review all photos closely for exact condition. The snuff suede remains in very nice condition with an attractive, even nap and normal signs of use. Welt and stitching appear solid. The plantation crepe soles show wear but remain serviceable. Alden Plain Toe Snuff Suede Boots Barrie 11.5 D purchased from Brooks Brothers. Condition is Pre-owned but great shape, the leather toe cap on the sole has expected wear. The suede upper is in wonderful condition, with a slight nap; the snuff suede that was used on these is significantly better than what is utilized now / utilized for J.Crew issues. Suede has no marks or heavy rubs/scratching. I will include the Alden shoe trees ($50) , no box or dust bags included. Shipped via ups ground.

A nice solid pair of Alden boots, made for Brooks Brothers, in snuff suede on the 379x Military last. Crepe rubber soles (very soft and quiet, super comfortable), and gold hardware. This last fit is very similar to Barrie and Trubalance, most will fit 1/2 size down from Brannock so these should be good for a 9.5D (works this way for me). If unsure please ask; I will not accept returns based on sizing. Uppers in good shape with a few dark spots on one collar (shown). Soles have some wear but should be good for quite a while yet. These are Goodyear welted, so they can be resoled when the time comes.

I bought these boots new several years ago -- back when Brooks Brothers sourced to Alden -- and wore them lightly.  About a year ago the crepe on one shoe I noticed was coming detached from the sole and I sent them to Alden to have them refurbished in their Massachusetts factory.  They fully restored them witih new soles and the works.  They look and feel brand new now - from the suede to the crepe sole.     They're Barrie last.  Offered without reserve.  My style has changed and I've found myself not wearing these boots.  They're taking up room in my closet and I'm looking for a new home for them.   These boots were a limited edition and to find them in this condition is especially rare - with full factory restoration.   Happy to answer questions!
