Hello all, I purchased these shell cordovan loafers several years ago at the Alden's retail store in San Francisco. It was an impulse purchase while on vacation. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend the store - excellent service and selection! Unfortunately, I haven't worn them since before the pandemic - and I don't see much opportunity to wear them again. These are the only Alden's I've owned - along with 10 pairs or so of Allen Edmonds dress shoes. I can't remember what I paid, but I'm positive it's nowhere near the 2023 prices - which seem to be pushing $900! Everything in the photos is included, but note I don't have the original Alden box. I'll ship them securely in an Allen Edmonds box inside a plain brown cardboard box. I don't have the expertise to answer questions regarding lasts, leather, construction, etc. Please take a look at all the photos, I tried to photograph them as clearly as possible. As far as size, they do seem to be an accurate size 9, slightly wide. In any event, there's a 30 day return policy for any reason. I'm going to reduce the price every few days until they sell.
