Alden 1035 She’ll Cordovan Black Loafer with white stitching. This is a striking pair, especially with the contrast of the white stitching. I purchased this pair about 4 years ago from the Alden store on Madison Avenue in New York City. The shoes retail for $850. They are in amazing condition. In those 4 years I’ve worn them maybe a dozen times total. They haven’t even had time to fully break in. Also, what I do with all of my leather shoes is immediately after my purchase I give them to my trusted cobbler and immediately have Vibram rubber soles and heals installed. This is obviously the right thing to do, and greatly extends the life of a good pair of shoes. As you can see from the photos, the ridges are still on the rubber soles…that’s how little I wore these. I’ve only had them polished once the whole time. Always kept on shoe trees. And I am throwing in the original Alden shoe trees. I’m selling them because I don’t wear them, and maybe someone else will love them and give them the use they deserve.
