Alden 1089 Black Shell Cordovan

Alden 1089 black calf loafer 9B/D Ed Meier Germany. Label says they are 1089. These loafers most closely resemble the current 989 leisure handsewn. They are on the van last and are fully lined. Please be aware that the van last runs 1/4-1/2 size large, so please know your Alden sizing before buying. Exceptionally soft leather lining. The shoes had a sole protector which became worn so I removed the sole protector. The soles still have plenty of life. The shoes are just a little small for me and they have a slightly higher vamp than my unlined loafers. Rather than have a new sole protector added at a cobbler, I’ve decided to sell them.
