Alden 1127 Black Shell Cordovan Cap Toe Boot

Alden 2x2 captoe boots in black shell cordovan, size 9 E.  Built on the Modified last, with flexible oiled leather sole.  Model # 1127 is a retailer exclusive for Anatomica in Paris, with unique features: (1)  Winged heel counters  (2)  Unlined tongues that are fully connected to both the exterior and interior quarters.  Preventing the tongue from slipping to 1 side.   (3)  Unlined interior around ankles.  The toe area is fully lined.   This pair was manufactured in October 2025.   I purchased via Alden's factory seconds program in May 2026.  The pair has been laced up, tried on once indoors on carpeting, then boxed up and stored in my collection 100% unworn.   Cosmetic defects on this pair: (1)  Color fading on the vamp area, in the area inbetween the 2x2 captoe stitching and the tongue.   (2)  On the interior quarter panel of the left shoe, there are a couple of small indentation lines on the shell cordovan.  See photo # 8 Ships with white factory seconds boot box originally mated to this pair.   

Pre-owned in good condition. The genuine shell cordovan uppers show the classic, desirable rolling across the vamps with no cracks or tears. The leather outsoles and Foot Balance rubber heels show moderate, even wear. Please review all photos for exact condition. Condition: These boots have been excellently maintained. The shell cordovan exhibits a deep, rich shine and features the characteristic rolling at the flex points rather than creasing. The interior lining is clean, and the insoles are clearly stamped. Soles show standard wear with plenty of life left. Shoe trees for display purposes only, not included. These are a well cared for pair of Brooks Brothers black shell cordovan full strap Penny loafers made by Alden, but Brooks Brothers no longer carries Alden shell cordovan. Alden still makes the full strap shell loafer and they retail new for $967. An American Classic made in America. Shoe trees are not included
