These are a well cared for pair of Brooks Brothers black shell cordovan full strap Penny loafers made by Alden, but Brooks Brothers no longer carries Alden shell cordovan. Alden still makes the full strap shell loafer and they retail new for $967. An American Classic made in America. Shoe trees are not included

Pre-owned in good condition. The genuine shell cordovan uppers show the classic, desirable rolling across the vamps with no cracks or tears. The leather outsoles and Foot Balance rubber heels show moderate, even wear. Please review all photos for exact condition. This fits as a narrow C width). Material: Premium genuine black shell cordovan. Soles: Original leather outsoles with Alden's signature Foot Balance rubber heels. Condition: These boots have been excellently maintained. The shell cordovan exhibits a deep, rich shine and features the characteristic rolling at the flex points rather than creasing. The interior lining is clean, and the insoles are clearly stamped. Soles show standard wear with plenty of life left. Shoe trees for display purposes only, not included. For your consideration I am selling this Alden Black shell cordovan Cap toe Boot in size 10 A/C US sizing.Shaped on the Modified last with leather soles and the Thomas heel. The Modified Last is narrow in the heel with a high instep which provides greater control and support through the rear & mid-foot. The front of the last allows the big toe to lie straight with a broad flare around the pinkie toe providing greater width and space for the toes. It is a last that fits anatomically correct and matches the shape of most feet. The Modified Last runs large and are usually sized similar to Alden's Barrie, 379X and Trubalance Lasts The Alden code for this model is 1127 made exclusively for Anatomica Paris. A beautiful casual pair to be worn with jeans, chinos etc. The cordovan leather may show some bloom which can easily be brushed away. Comes with the original Alden shoe box.
