A classic pair of chukka boots from Alden, the iconic American shoemaker established in 1884. Crafted with soft brown calf suede, this 2-eyelet plain toe chukka boot offers both refined style and everyday versatility. The 360-degree Goodyear welt construction with a storm welt ensures durability, while the flexible rubber outsole provides enhanced comfort. Barrie Last Vibram Lug Rubber Outsoles All Alden Shoes and Boots are crafted using a Goodyear Welt construction, and feature a tempered steel shank under the arch of the foot. The steel shank provides superior support and comfort throughout the day. Handcrafted in New England of the finest domestic and imported materials. No major issues. Some scuffs on the suede. Sole is a little worn, but still has lots of life left. Stitching is in great shape. Please see photos for condition. Extremely supple leather and very comfortable. Smoke free home. Shoe trees not included. Width: Alden's lasts are all "combination" lasts, where the heel is two widths narrower than the rest of the shoe. Alden denotes the width of the shoe as a fraction: the top of the fraction represents the width of the heel, while the bottom represents the width of the rest of the shoe. The bottom of the fraction is considered the width of the shoe and is the width upon which you should base your sizing.

This is a pair of Mens Alden Chukka boots size 8.5 D in good condition. These have been somewhat heavily worn but still have a great look to them.
