Unique: Alden’s with New Dainite Soles If you know Alden you know they rarely use Dainite soles. I had this pair of Alden 1273(s) Chukka Boots, a true classic, fully recrafted and restored and paid the upcharge to switch to Dainite Caesar’s of New York did the recraft. His work is reviewed on the web and is discussed in several blogs and on multiple sites. He does outstanding work, is believed by many to be the best Alden recrafter working today The recraft included a full sole system replacement meaning each layer is removed and replaced. The suede was double shampooed and treated with water and stain protection. The insides were fully steam cleaned and sanitized; new premium laces added to complete the re-craft process and look. This effectively makes these a new pair pf shoes but with broken in leather. And the suede shows no wear - see pics. The shoes beautiful, and have never been worn, These chukkas are handmade by Alden with premium suede and featuring an almond toe shape and they are lightweight and comfortable, making them suitable for a variety of occasions such as travel, weddings, parties, workwear, and more. The lace-up closure with the higher-end, premium cotton laces are an upgrade to the originals but with the same look. These boots were treated for water and stain protection as part of the restoration so they are water and spot resistant. The Dainite soles are slip-resistant, great in all weather conditions, and extremely comfortable. The 1273s’ have arch support with cushioning for added comfort. You can’t go wrong with what is effectively a new pair Aldens but with upgraded Dainite soles that have never been walked in for less than half price They are from smoke and pet free home. And Alden shoe box is not included at this price but I can obtain new or used with or without Alden dust bags for my cost.
