If you know Alden, you know that the relationship with Brooks Brothers was discontinued years ago and as such, these are only available occasionally on the after-market and for prices that are quite high. Exhibit some of the nicest color 8 that I own. Minimal creasing and soles are firm. Very comfortable and can seamlessly flow between dress and casual. I actually own multiple pairs of this model which is why these are being made available. As for the repair, please examine the last two pictures on these and you will see that the seam on the vamp of the left shoe came undone and was sewn/  repaired by Aram (AramtheCobbler) who is the best in the business (IMO). This is captured in the last two pics. I will attempt to photograph the repair but it is difficult because of where it occurs. Close examination of the vamp on pic 13 will reveal the repair. Hard to see because he did such a great job. Pic 14 is of the inside of the left shoe but because of where the repair occurs, it is really hard to capture with a camera. As such, I am doing something I never do. I am offering a 21-day return (you pay for shipping). This is how confident I am that the repair on these shoes is solid. Moderate creasing and sole wear.  ·      Less Than Very Good – rare as I simply don't own any footwear in this condition.
