There is a light mark at the inside side of the right toe and hard to notice small scuffed area at the inside side of the right heel. If you shine the cordovan under bright, direct light you can see some surface dye variation - this happens sometime with Alden cordovan shoes because Alden uses a heavy overdye on their color 8 cordovan. Footbeds near new only with essentially no impressioning. The original soles are in excellent condition with very light surface wear. The original heels show only very slight edge wear. Shoes like these can last a lifetime if worn properly for occasional elegance. These shoes are a work of craftsmanship and deserve the pride to wear them. They are not for health walks but shine when walking on any red carpet. If you like attending opera, you need shoes like these.
