For sale is an absolutely gorgeous pair of Alden monk straps, made in the USA out of a soft navy blue suede. These are the incredibly rare ”1654” model, which I believe was a custom order from many years ago, as I can find nothing online that matches that model number. They are a somewhat-faded navy blue color (not super dark or ruch) with a simple single monk design and are Goodyear-welted with a leather sole and nailed-in heel. I would rate them a 6.5/10, as they have creasing (pics taken unstuffed), scuffs/marks/wear throughout the uppers (main areas of wear are at the toeboxes and back heel areas, although right above the midsole on each shoe there is some wear as well, most likely from polish), and some wear on the soles (still firm). The blue suede has definitely faded somewhat over the years, but it's still a beautiful shade of blue overall. There is also maybe a tiny bit of separation at the left heel cap, though it's pretty minor and in no danger of separation/needing repair. They are marked a US 10 D, which is a normal width. These look great overall & will be a luxurious addition to any man's wardrobe. Shoes will be shipped in a box & priority. Any questions, please contact me.
