Alden 2210 Color 8 Shell Cordovan Norwegian Front Blucher

Commemorate Norway's spectacular 2026 World Cup run by adding this pair of Alden Norwegian split toe derbies to your collection.  Size 9D, constructed on the sleek Aberdeen last, atop a double layer of oak-tanned leather soles, featuring Horween's color 8 shell cordovan.  The interior is fully lined with soft glove leather.   The Norwegian split toe (NST) pattern showcases Alden's world renown handsewn ridges on the vamp in a distinctive American pie crust pattern.  When viewed from the side, the heel's double sloped curved stitch lines gives this shoe an aesthetically pleasing counterbalance, compared to split toe derbies from other brands that have plain, unadorned heel cups (such as the more austere Saint Crispin's 575).   At the very rear of the shoe on the exterior heel cup, the vertical rectangular box-stitching on the leather is purposefully sewn with misaligned angles, giving the Alden NST an extra flair of casual fun and wabi sabi zen. With Alden's factory scaling down production of all models with handsewn ridges, the 2210 is no longer available as a stock catalog model # that can be ordered by retailers upon request.  The interior handwriting on this pair indicates it was manufactured in June of 2023.  Jim at Alden San Francisco sourced this pair from Alden District of Columbia for me in February 2025, after his own store's inventory had sold out in this size.  Worn less than 30k steps total, entirely on city sidewalks.  Selling because a couple months ago, I discovered McDonald's survey code system for getting free quarter pounders with cheese (it even works on double quarter pounders with cheese!!), and my weight gain necessitates I go up with a half size or width on the Aberdeen last.   Includes green Alden shoebox, and white Alden branded cloth shoe bags.   Thank you, and wishing all Alden and welted shoe enthusiasts good luck, intriguing discoveries, and enjoyable journeys along the way in your eBay searches for interesting makeups and good value buys.  

This is a beautiful pair of Norwegian bluchers by Alden in shell cordovan - size 7 E (US).  Went to the San Francisco store looking for loafers and saw these. Purchased them on a whim because they looked so good. But I barely wore these because they don't match most of my outfits as they're on the casual side.  Super clean and in excellent+ condition as I barely wore them. I wore these to the office about half a dozen times. They are in fantastic shape as you can tell by the pictures. Alden raised its price to $1,048 before taxes right after I purchased these.
