These were recently restored by Alden to their original specs, with brand new soles, heels, and insoles, and have only been worn a half dozen times since they came back, mostly indoors on carpeted surfaces. These shoes have always been meticulously cared for and when not being worn, they've been stored in dust bags on Alden-branded cedar shoe trees (by Rochester).
