Product Description,This Norwegian Front Toe Blucher shoe is the premier Alden oxford shoe. It features a hand-butted seam which sets it apart, making it one of the most sought after models the Alden Shoe Company has ever designed. The process for making the upper for this style and placing it on the last is so difficult that there are only 2 or 3 highly trained hand-sewers that are tasked with this responsibility. The front of the shoe is actually a single piece of shell cordovan or calfskin, not multiple pieces that are stitched. The operator uses one tool to pinch the leather forming a "seam" and then uses 2 needles to pierce the seam on opposite sides. Quite a work of art! Guaranteed authentic, good condition Alden Shoes, Size 7 This is a classic pair of Alden men's shoes in very fine tan / medium brown leather. The insoles are brown leather. These shoes lace up the top with thin laces and have leather stitch details. The soles have heel and toe guards. The interior is marked "7 C/E" and "9E05X005 2214". They are marked a size 7 and measure approximately: 11.5" toe to heel, 4" across at the widest part of the foot, and 1.125" heels. There is a 0.125" lip around the front of the shoes that is included in the measurements. The shoes are in good condition with wear on the soles and gentle creases in the leather.
