”Alden Cigar Shell Cordovan US 10D UK 9 Norwegian Aberdeen Split Toe ” I got these about 10 years ago from my wife for a birthday gift. I wear these very little, maybe 20 times. About twice a year. They have the original souls and heels. I had a vibram soul protector put on them so as not to wear down the souls. No splits or cracks to the leather and the eyelets for the laces are not stretched. I am meticulous and take care of my shoes and use Saphir cream poducts and polish on my shoes. The color looks even as I store them in a closet cabinet away from strong light. There is some color variation inherent to the shell cordovan variation, with more light brown tones to the outside side of the right shoe and more dark brown tones to the outside side of the left shoe. These shoes are presented in good pre-owned ccondition with scuffing at the toes of both shoes and scuffing at the outside side of the left shoe near the lacing. There are light marks at the back heel area of both shoes. The footbeds are in good condition with light impressioning only. The original soles are firm to the press and in good condition with about 65%to 70% of their original life remaining with some toe drag showing. The heels are in good condition with very light edge wear only to the rubber part of the toplift.
