These shoes show very light creasing at the vamps and surface scuffing at the inside side of left toe and at the outside side of the right toe. There are surface scuffs and marks at the back heel area of both shoes. The footbeds are in excellent condition with nearly no impressioning from previous use. The original crepe soles are in good condition with light surface wear. Leather tips in good condition. Heels show light edge wear. Please note these shoes are factory seconds. This listing is for a pair of black US size 8.5 B/D Alden (2495) Shell Cordovan Moc Toe Bluchers with plantation crepe outsoles and leather tips. According to my research, these shoes were produced on the 379X last and tend to run 1/2 size larger. This is consistent with my measurement of the insoles, which are approximately 11.25 inches; slightly longer than the average US 8.5 size shoe. The shoes are in excellent overall condition with generally clean outsoles (albeit pen/marker and a depression on the right sole), insoles and linings, and minimal markings to the uppers, consistent with gentle usage, shelf wear, or perhaps because it's a factory second. Behind the eyelets of each shoe, there is an R stamped inside a circle, indicating it's a factory second (you can see this in image 4 left shoe).
