Folks we have here the another of many genuine shell cordovan shoes and boots that I am going to list. I have been addicted to shell cordovan for over 4 decades and am now retired from office work and need to put them into other hands. SIZE MENS 9.5D. Always kept shoe trees in every shoe, day one. For years, kept boxes, but got to be too much and had custom shelves made. This listing is for a pair of very rare birds, Alden Cap Toe boots in color 8 shell cordovan. I special ordered these from Alden at no small expense via one of my regular stores at the time Their current shell shoes and boots go for almost a grand. This is horween shell at its finest. Soles are what Alden calls Commando Soles, essentially mini-Vibram. Grant last. I have the original shoe bags for these. Also, a pair of AE cedar wood shoe trees. I remember wearing these once or twice to my carpeted office. Take a look, these are almost out of the box condition. No box. Thank you for your interest.

Alden Color #8 shell cordovan cap toe boot, Plaza last with commando sole, size 11D. Purchased from J.Gilbert Footwear new in 2012, stored in shoe bags. Have never been polished, just brushed with horsehair shoe brush. $700 original price. 11D in Plaza last is equivalent to 10.5D in Alden Barrie last. I also wear a 10UK/11US shoe normally.
