And despite my best efforts Aldens do not fit me right in the ankle. I have worn these a handful of times, mostly indoors, they are beautiful. Alden Tanker Boot in Color 8 Shell Cordovan Size 9.5 B/D (D Width) on Commando Sole. Original retail: $644.95 These were purchased from The Shoe Mart's Factory Seconds. I still do not know why they were considered seconds. I have worn them less than five times and found that they are too small for me. It's a beautiful pair, deserving of a good home.
