Alden 4039C Color 8 Shell Cordovan NST Tanker Boot

Alden Color 8 Shell Cordovan Norwegian Split Toe Boot with Commando sole. These are amazing. Deep color 8 that only Alden can achieve. These have been worn less the a dozen times. Very little wear shown on the soles. These are “B” width and are considered narrow. It’s important you know you Alden shoe size. These are formed over Aberdeen last and are considered true to size. There are a few scuffs on the leather but appear to me to be superficial and probably would come out with a shoe shine. I did have heel pads installed on the tongue of the boot and there maybe residual adhesive left on the inside tongue. I removed the heel pads. I purchased these new and come with dust covers and original box.

Beautiful Alden Norwegian Front (NST) Tanker Boots. Color 8 Shell Cordovan. Aberdeen last size 10E. Gently used, worn approximately five times. Includes original box, boot dust covers, and Alden shoe horn. Purchased from Brick & Mortar Seattle. Retail $815.00. Get them fast, in time for boot season without waiting for a pre-order. The boots are in near perfect condition. There is a small scratch on the toe box of the right boot if you look closely. See photos. Note that although these are a wide size (10E), they are on the Aberdeen last, which is one of Alden's narrower lasts. Therefore these boots could work for someone who wears a 10D. For reference, I wear a size 10E on the Alden Grant last and in Allen & Edmonds shoes and boots. I am selling these because they are a bit too narrow for me.

Up for sale is a pair of Alden Norwegian Front boots (sometimes called a Tanker boot on other lasts) made for Brick and Mortar Seattle using Horween Color 8 Shell Cordovan. It's made on the sleek Aberdeen last, but it's ruggedized through use of the commando sole. The antique welt and sole edge work really well with the color 8 shell, and the rest of the details balance it all out (goodyear welt, leather lining and insoles, steel shank, and cork midsole). These run $835 + $35 for the trees at Brick and Mortar, so it'd be $870 for a new pair. I've always kept the Alden cedar shoe trees in them (included, along with Alden shoe bags), and I've taken really good care of them. I have a dozen other pairs of Aldens, so they just haven't gotten much since I bought them 2 1/2 years ago. I hate to let them go, but someone else will get more use than I have!
