Alden Indy 405 Brown Leather Calfskin Lace-Up Boot Made in USA Sz 10.5 B/D. This is one of the early calfskin models after they moved away from the fabric lining. The newer models have a more orange color and this more of a brown color. These are on the true balance which runs big for Alden’s. If you normally wear a 11-11.5 these should fit you well. The tongue on these boots tends to slide and a cobbler add a rivet the keep the tongue in place (see pics). You can simply unscrew them if you prefer not to have them installed. Vintage Alden Indy's. Unsure of manufacture date but these feature both the discontinued upper white contrast stitching and duck canvas liner that Alden no longer produce. The rear leather heel liner is worn through in a spot on one boot, and starting to wear through on the other. The leather die has some faded spots, especially along the rear heel sides. There is a small and shallow cut on the toe of one of the boots. Good condition otherwise! The inking on the canvas is hard to make out but it says size 10. The width is too far gone to make out, but I believe these to be E width based on wearing the on my feet. Measuring across the top of the widest part of the front of the foot gives around 4.25 inches.

Widest part of sole is 5 1/8 inches, and widest part of heel is 3.5 inches. Classic work dress boots! Bottom soles measure 13 1/4”. Very pricey, so this is a great price!
