There is a scuffed area at the inside side of the left boot. The footbeds are in good condition and are not heavily imprinted. The original leather soles show some dirt but are very firm to the press and in good condition. The original heels are in excellent condition with only very slight edge wear to the rubber part of the toplift. Nice pair of Alden Shell Cordovan Indy Boots Brand new JR Soles / Never worn on new soles Color 8 has a lot of patina / character. Mellowing out to a reddish brown. This has a stitching issue (see pic 4). Nothing is loose, but clearly there was a repair there. Trubalance Last Listed Style: 40508H Listed Size: 11 B / D (Medium) Please know your Trubalance size. An incredibly well preserved pair of Alden Indy Boots in Horween Shell Cordovan. Colored No. 8, which is Aldens signature shade of Burgundy, these boots perfectly punctuate denim, casual suiting and white trousers. Built on the venerable TruBalance last, these boots have a comfortable toe box while keeping a svelte profile.  I had these resoled with a commando sole at Moulded Shoe in NYC. Gentle wear all around (scuffs and scratches) bit nothing that a good cobbler can't revive.  If you want to recraft these boots, Alden offers an amazing service to completely resole and revive these boots for a small cost. The best part: you can choose the type of sole (double oiled leather? Cork Rubber? / Crepe? / Commando?) The choices are half of the fun.  Get your hands on these boots ASAP.  I am parting ways with these beauties because as I've gotten older my foot shape changed and I need to size up.  Snap these up! Alden 405 Cordovan Colour 8 size 9.5D BNIB. Here we have a pair of Alden 40531 H Cordovan Colour 8 boots is US size 9.5D (which is a U.K. 8.5 but as you will probably know they run a half size big so fit a U.K. 9 approximately) Bought from the Alden Madison store NY. These come with leather soles (which I haven’t seen for a while) They have never been worn however there is a scuff on the inside of the left boot as shown in the picture. They are 100% Genuine.
