The iconic Indy Boot is Alden's authentic work boot, shown here in Natural Chromexcel leather. Famous for its career in film, the Indy Boot is appreciated today in many different circles for its timeless design, robust Horween leathers, and incredible all-day comfort. Each Alden New England boot offers breathable comfort that lasts all day long. A layer of cork underneath the insole provides both insulation and resilience. As time goes on, the boot will assume the contours of your foot, providing an excellent fit that feels like it was custom-tailored to you. A tempered steel shank is expertly contoured within each boot and triple ribbed for extra strength. Comes with Alden shoe bags, also new condition. I believe the boots are an Alden size 9.5(although the box says 9D) which would make them a size 10 in standard shoes(Danner, Nike, Adidas, etc). They are pretty snug on me which makes sense because I’m normally a 10.5, sometimes 10.5E in standard US sizing. As one of the photo shows, the only number showing where the size normally would be is a 5 which fits if it’s a 9.5 in Alden. Apparently there was an overlap in the glove leather lining which partially covered the sizing print. Other than that they’re beautiful with extremely high build quality.

This is a brand new pair of natural CXL Alden Indy boots in size 8D. The sole is neocork. They are in pristine, unworn condition. Unfortunately, Alden does not make shoes/boots with this leather anymore and these boots are no longer sold by the company. Alden shoe bags come with the boots.

Up for auction is my pair of Alden 405 Indy boots, custom made by Marc Kitter of Adventurebilt Hat Co.! They are a mens size 10.5D. These have NEVER BEEN WORN! Marc worked with Alden to come up with these LIMITED RUN INDY BOOTS! I don’t know the number of boots that were part of the run. But I do know it was difficult to get on the list and I’ve never seen another pair up for sale! I believe the run was called the “vintage series”, and the official title of the boot is 40557 H. They feature a raw, untreated finish, showcasing the natural color of the leather. It will be up to the buyer, whether or not to apply wax. I purchased these directly from Adventurebilt in 2014, and have only removed them from their box two times: Once, to inspect them, when they first arrived And second, to photograph them for this listing! Each boot comes in its own cloth, drawstring pouch, emblazoned with the Alden logo! THEY ARE 100% UNWORN, UNUSED AND UNDAMAGED!!!! THESE ARE IN BRAND NEW CONDITION!!! MINT!!!! Over time, they will achieve a beautiful tone which you will surely enjoy for many years! THESE BOOTS ARE BUILT TO LAST!!!! I never got around to wearing them, so I hope someone else will enjoy them!
