You are looking at a beautiful pair of Alden cap toe medallion boots in black calfskin. They show only slight wear. The leather shines well and is free from blemishes. The cap toe takes a beautiful shine. A rubber sole has been added on top of the original leather sole for traction, and appears to not have been walked in. In general, these boots appear to have been worn only a handful of times indoors. These are built on Alden's ”modified last”. It is a combination last with a narrower heel, higher arch and wider forefoot, meant to support the foot through the gait cycle and allow the big toe to track straight. And of course, Alden's superior construction and quality utilizing goodyear welt construction. The size is 10.5 (Men's) D Width. The insole is marked ”Conformal Shoe Store”. This is the marking that Alden uses for shoes made for Moulded Shoe, a high end shoe seller in New York City. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
