Alden 44619 Black Calfskin Wing Tip Boot

Alden Black Calf Shortwing Boot. Barrie Last 11 1/2. Like new. Great pair of boots from Alden. Obtained from the Shoemart - part of their Custom Bootmakers edition. Fully leather lined. Double soles, nice eyelets all the way up (vs. speed hooks which can catch your dress pants). You can tell from the pictures, I didn’t wear these more than a few times. Covid hit and didn’t get out of the house much. Box and yellow dust covers included. Barrie last which fits 1/2 size larger than your “normal” size. I’m usually a size 12, but 11 1/2 in Barrie and Trubalance last (the Indy boot). I ship fast will ship international via Ebay’s Global Shipping program. Get a great pair of Aldens at a decent price. A used pair of wingtip ankle boots. Leather outsole and shows wear. US size 9. Alden’s Barrie last. The only slight issue is the perforation on the left boot rear counter shows a little tear, but would t affect integrity the whole shoe. Inside condition is excellent, Alden’s inner construction is the best and very durable. Alden’s Black Cowhide Wingtip 9. Condition is ”Pre-owned”. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

Alden 44619 men's 9 eyelet wing-tip boot in black French calfskin leather, size 10D, custom Bookmaker Edition. Full glove leather lined with a steel shank, triple ribbed to add extra strength. Leather is hand burnished and features double oak bend leather soles with 360 degree storm welt, dovetailed heels for foundation and a Barrie Last. Purchased new, selling from the original owner. Boots were worn for one or two seasons, always allowing a day or two (usually much more) in between wearing and conditioned regularly. Includes the original shoe bags and box.

Bought these as ”Exclusives” from famed Alden retailer The Shoe Mart. MSRP: $563.00 I honestly can't find any faults with them at all, besides the few small spots of black color on the inner light colored leather lining. (Please see photos.) That's it. And I believe those are the only ”issues” with these beautiful boots. They are otherwise essentially perfect. The inner light leather lining also shows a couple of areas of very, very slight darkening, NOT from wear, as these are totally new and unworn, but from a natural breatheable SnoSeal beeswax treatment. (On the plus side, they are now completely waterproof!) These areas of beeswax are only (very slightly) visible from the inside. You will never see them when they're worn! (These wax areas are also shown in photos; as you can see, these areas are very, very light. I am just about total and full disclosure....) The Barrie Last truly does wear a bit large. I am a solid size 9 D in almost all makes and lasts. I do have to size down half a size for Alden's Trubalance and Barrie Lasts. These are crafted on the Barrie Last. Therefore, these Barrie Last Size 9 D boots are for someone who usually wears a 9.5 D, in most other shoes. As I mentioned, I am a ”true” size 9 D. I re-purchased these, and I own several pairs of Indy Boots (Trublance Last), in size 8.5 D, and they fit perfectly. Therefore, these size 9 D barrie Last boots are half a size too large -- they really wear as a 9.5 D. Make sense? I have never worn these outside of my carpeted bedroom. I only tried them on once or twice, for a few minutes at a time. These are truly in excellent shape. You won't be disappointed. Thanks!
