Alden Wing-Tip Shell Cordovan Boots 11 3E. No. 8 burgundy. Built on the Barrie last, which runs half to a full size big. Please examine photos. While these boots are beautiful and in great condition, they do have small scratches and scuffs from normal wear. Will include jar of Alden No. 8 polish.

You are bidding on Alden Shell Cordovan Wingtip Boots, Color 8, Size 10D Barrie Last, with a Commando Sole. I wore these all the time for several years. I sent them back to Alden to have new soles put on them and recraft them. They are definitely in used condition, I wore these, they did not sit in the closet. But they were well loved and well maintained. I Would use paste wax on them weekly and brush them with a horse hair brush. I think the leather has a lot more life left and the soles will need replacing at some point but there is still a decent amount of tread left. The thread on the sides of the commando sole wore down at the edge of the sole, so the commando rubber is separating, but you can just glue that down. This happens with all Alden shoes with the commando sole.
