Alden 44692 Brown Chromexcel Wing Tip Boot

Alden wingtip 10.5 d. very good condition, laces have been cut shorter see pictures.

Alden model 44692. Size 8D US. Brown CXL. Handful of wears on these. In very good shape. Barrie last. Lots of life left in the leather soles. Will come with cedar shoe trees. Current retail on these is $715.

Selling barely worn pair of Alden Wingtip Boots, made up in Horween brown chromexcel leather in US size 9D in the Barrie last.  I didn't care for the original leather outsoles so I had them resoled with Vibram lug soles so these are a totally unique make-up. The resole was done by Aram the Cobbler who does a lot of work on Alden's. I also had him add speed hooks to the upper four rows of laces. Shoe bags and original box included. I took a chance on these somewhat because I normally take a 9.5 in Alden's (mainly Trubalance last) and I did wear them around a few times but I just didn't like the way they fit at the end of the day. Good used condition, some signs of wear from office use only. Recently polished at a shop. I will add additional photos in outside daytime lighting shortly.
