This is a pair of special makeup Alden boots for Leather Soul in a brown Horween Chromexcel calf with serious brogueing and a righteous patina. The shoe is built on the shapely Plaza last with an antique edge trim and full welt oiled leather flex soles that are slip and water resistant. These shoes are in excellent worn condition. They are well tended, always stored with Alden lasted shoe trees and nourished regularly with Saphir products. The boots were purchased in 2014 and have been re-soled once by the Alden factory. The size is 8.5 B/D and for reference the bottom of sole dimensions is 11-3/4” x 4-1/4”. Please make sure you are familiar with the Alden sizing, the Plaza last and the stated Alden size will fit you before bidding. On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being new and 1 threadbare, these shoes are a 4. Bought from Leather Sole a few years ago. They’re an exclusive boot for only their stores and sold in limited quantity. They are made using the natural chromexcel leather from Horween. These are really beautiful boots and the Chromexcel in a short wing with and oiled sole is very tough to find. These will last for many many years.
