I purchased these at ShoeMart in Connecticut this spring, under the false impression that they were built on the barrie last. They are not, it turns out, and I could never get used to the different shape in the toe box. It has just a little more volume, but probably not as much as the trubalance. The leather is still stiff, so it will adjust to your foot. It has not adjusted to mine yet. I spent maybe two weeks in them, over the last four months. I will include Nordstrom cedar shoe trees, Alden shoe bags, and the original box. They were purchased as factory seconds but I could never find the defect myself. Thanks for looking.
