Cleaning out my closet. Alden Shell Cordovan Color 8 NST Norwegian Split Toe Boot. Plaza Last, size 10.5 C/E width. C for the heel, E for the toebox. The plaza last is narrow in the toe box and fits very similar to the Barrie / Truebalance D widith Very good condition. Some minor scuffing around the toe and heel area from normal wear. I'll clean them up before shipping. But all scuffs should buff out easily. The soles and heels have tons of life left in them. Will ship with Alden boot bags, I lost the box though. Alden Tanker Boots (9 eyelets Plaza Last). Wore less than 5 times in 2 year. Only reason I let them go is because my wife ask me to cut down my collection. The boots were purchased from Citishoes, NY in fall 2016 (9/13/2016). Original box, dust bags, paper works will also be shipped together with these rare tanker boots. If you are an Alden fan, you can easily recognize the value of Tanker boots as their upper stitches are produced by hand (norwegian stitch or NSY). People usually have to wait at least 8 month or so for a pair. Sometimes even longer. Brand new pair everywhere cost you at least 800 as Alden just increased their price again. This pair only has minimal wear and look almost like new. PLUS this is in PLAZA last which is much more elegant. This pair of tanker boots is made by Alden using the famous Horween shell cordovan leather on a PLAZA Last. It features 9 eyelets, commando outsole, and antique edge. Alden Tanker NST 10.5 E - Plaza last, Shell Cordovan color 8, brass eyelets. I purchased these used on SF so unsure of actual number of wears. They are quite wide being Plaza and E width but I wear a 10.5 D normally and they're comfortable.
